Koch Chemie ProtectorWax PW All-round Bodywork Wax

Koch Chemie ProtectorWax PW is a 1L bodywork protection wax that can be used as a hot wax, cold wax and foam wax, with machine or manual application. Reactive polymer components combine with care ingredients to form a protective network, delivering deep gloss and water repellency. The water-beading effect also helps improve visibility in rain. Regular use replenishes gloss and the protective layer, conceals fine scratches, and conditions rubber, plastic parts and convertible roof materials to reduce fading and embrittlement.

The formula contains no mineral oil hydrocarbons and is suitable for standard and biological water treatment systems; the original information states compliance with VDA Class A standards. When choosing a product, PW focuses on wax-based care, deep gloss and multiple application methods, while Hydro Foam Sealant S0.03 focuses on a concentrated foam coating and quick wet application. Spray Sealant S0.02 is a quicker-to-apply spray sealant that can be used alongside PW.

Directions: When ready to use, apply neat or dilute at a ratio of 1:2. The original information also recommends adding approximately 30 ml of ProtectorWax to 1 litre of water, then applying it to clean, wet bodywork with a foam sprayer. Allow the product to penetrate, then rinse thoroughly with a pressure washer to reduce residue marks.

Avoid freezing or excessive heat during use and storage. Each batch of mixed product is for a single application only; do not store leftover mixture. Avoid applying in direct sunlight or to hot surfaces, as the product may dry too quickly and leave marks.

Use neat or diluted to 1:2 via a dosing pump. Recommended dosage per vehicle: hot/cold wax 13-19 ml; foam wax 13-19 ml; premium wax 16-23 ml. Complies with VDA Class A. Manual use: Add approximately 30ml to 1l of water and apply to clean, still-wet bodywork using a foam sprayer or pump sprayer. Allow to work. Rinse thoroughly with a pressure washer to avoid marks. When using a foam lance, adjust the pre-dilution ratio accordingly. Wipe away any remaining water. Mix only enough for one application at a time; do not store.
