Soft99 Helmet Water-Repellent Coating

Soft99 Helmet Water-Repellent Coating comes in a 70ml can and is primarily designed to maintain visibility through helmet visors in rainy weather. The water-repellent film helps reduce water droplets clinging to the surface. According to the product information, it works at speeds as low as 30 kilometres per hour, helping raindrops slide off and improving visibility in the rain.

It can be applied to dry or wet visor surfaces, and one can treats approximately 60 standard-sized visors. In addition to repelling water, the formula fills fine scratches to help improve visor clarity.

The product is suitable for caring for motorcycle and bicycle helmet and visor surfaces, forming a transparent film that helps reduce the effects of UV rays and dirt. Choose the application method according to whether the visor is dry or wet, and follow the usage instructions for spreading and wiping.

• Do not apply in very hot weather or when the application surface is excessively hot.
• When applying while wearing a helmet, do not use the sprayer upside down.
• Avoid spraying areas that do not require treatment. Accidental overspray may cause deformation or discolouration; wipe it off immediately with a towel dampened with water and wrung out.
• Do not leave the liquid untreated for a prolonged period, as this may cause unevenness or adversely affect the treated area.
• Do not wipe with tissues contaminated with sand or small stones, as this may cause scratches.
• Do not wipe with excessive force, as this may cause scratches or deformation.
• On first use, other coatings, ink, dirt or similar substances on the surface may prevent the expected results. In such cases, remove surface dirt according to the visor care instructions before application.
• After application, check that visibility is not affected.
• Please note that when passing through humid areas or tunnels, a large temperature difference may cause the coating to turn temporarily white. Open the visor immediately.
• If use or conditions cause the water-repellent coating to become uneven and impair visibility, reapply.
• Wash your hands thoroughly with soap after use.
• Do not use on specially treated surfaces.
• Test on an inconspicuous area before use.
