Wax is mainly petroleum or carnauba-based, with a hardness of only 1H–2H and lasts about 1–3 months. Ceramic coating is built from SiO₂ and TiO₂, forming inorganic covalent bonds with hardness up to 9H and lasting 2–5 years — far ahead of wax on acid resistance, UV protection and water beading.

No. Ceramic coating is a chemical protective layer that resists light grit abrasion, mineral scale corrosion and UV oxidation, but a hard impact or key scratch will still reach the paint underneath. For true physical scratch resistance, pair it with PPF paint protection film.
Q4. How long does the job take, and can I get my car back during the process?
A full-body job takes about 1–3 days, covering degreasing, polishing, coating, infrared curing and curing time. Your car stays in our Kwun Tong flagship's climate-controlled indoor bay, never outdoors. We can arrange a brief pickup in emergencies, but avoid rain for 7 days until fully cured.
Q5. How do I maintain it afterwards? Can I use automatic car washes?
Avoid rain, washing and dirt roads for the first 7 days. After that, we recommend returning to LETS GET WASH every 4–6 weeks for an AI robotic-arm assisted wash with CES ceramic shampoo, which keeps gloss and water-beading stable. Strong acid/alkali automatic car washes are not recommended, as they wear down the coating faster.
