Car wash price FAQ
Q1. How much does a car wash cost in Hong Kong in 2026?
At LETS GET WASH Kwun Tong an AI robotic-arm assisted hand wash (wheel cleaning included) is HK$198 for members (198 LGPoint) and HK$238 for non-members, with a HK$100 first-visit trial for new customers. For reference, self-service bays run about HK$30–60, tunnel washes HK$60–100 and traditional hand washes HK$120–200.
Q2. What does interior cleaning cost, and how is it different from a wash?
A wash covers the exterior; interior cleaning covers the cabin. Add-on interior vacuum plus glass cleaning is HK$60, steam interior cleaning HK$1,080, deep interior cleaning with leather care HK$1,888 and dry-ice deep cleaning HK$3,888.
Q3. How is coating priced, and are there hidden fees?
Coatings are priced by surface and product: glass coating HK$888, wheel coating HK$1,200 (outer) or HK$2,800 (full barrel), Koch-Chemie dual-layer ceramic HK$3,980, CYBRIX 9H HK$4,800 and Williams SHP self-healing HK$8,800. Degreasing and basic prep are included. Deep scratches need paint correction from HK$1,800, always quoted before we start.
Q4. Do you charge more for larger vehicles?
No. We removed vehicle-size surcharges — sedans, SUVs and MPVs pay the same listed price, and the amount you see at booking is the amount you pay.
Q5. How do member points (LGP / VP) work?
1 LGPoint = HK$1, so the listed price is also the number of points required. Top-ups earn bonus points, which works out as a discount, and authorised family-garage members can spend from the shared balance.
Q6. Can I pay by cash or FPS?
Yes. We accept cash in store, FPS, bank transfer (Hang Seng) and Stripe credit card. Online top-ups are credited automatically with a receipt once payment succeeds.
Q7. How often should I wash my car to get the best value?
Hong Kong is humid, rainy and dusty, so every 1–2 weeks works for most drivers — weekly if you park outdoors or near construction. Coated cars can use the coating maintenance wash (HK$198 member / HK$238 non-member) to extend the coating instead of re-applying it.
Q8. Can the price change after I get a quote?
Listed services (wash, interior, coating) follow the prices on this page. Items that need an inspection first — paint correction, PPF, pest treatment — get a written quote before work starts, and nothing is added afterwards.
