With its boxy body, round headlamps and cement-grey paint, the iCAUR V23 is instantly recognisable. LETS GET WASH combined a Williams Racing SHP self-healing coating with machine polishing, GSWF window film and interior deep cleaning.
Real workshop photographs record the wash, detail decontamination, machine polishing, coating products and window-film heat shaping — showing that a complete protection job is more than the final coat.
The owner's problem
The cement-grey V23 already has a strong design; the owner wanted paint gloss, glass heat control and cabin cleanliness handled together — refining the paint first, then protecting it.
What we did
- 1Foam wash with detailed decontamination around the V23 badge, trim and panel joins.
- 2Cleaning of lower sides, wheel arches and side steps.
- 3Machine paint polishing panel by panel to refine gloss.
- 4Williams Racing SHP (Self Healing Ceramic) coating application.
- 5GSWF window film installation, heat-shaped to the glass curvature.
- 6Material-appropriate interior deep cleaning.
Result
Finished photographs show the grey bonnet clearly reflecting studio lights, with distinct contrast against the black lamp surrounds, arches and trim. The images document appearance, not measured self-healing, repellency or heat-rejection performance.
Aftercare
Self-healing applies only to fine marks within the coating's scope — not deep scratches, stone chips or failed paint. Follow the studio's curing and care guidance, avoid dry-wiping dust and follow window-film drying instructions.
01
Cement-grey V23: gloss that defines the lines
Grey panels contrast with black front framing, trim and two-tone wheels; under studio lighting the reflections give the flat panels more depth.
“Cement grey” describes the appearance in the photographs, not a verified factory colour code.
02
Wash and decontamination first
A green decontamination tool is used around the V23 badge, while lower sides, arches and steps are cleaned of road contamination.
Washing removes contamination; paint correction is a separate step that improves dullness and reflections.
03
Machine polishing before protection
The polisher works the grey paint panel by panel rather than simply buffing by hand.
Polishing is not a respray; deep scratches, chips and failed paint need separate assessment.
04
Williams Racing SHP self-healing coating
The coating stage shows the Williams Racing bottle and blue applicator. Williams Racing car-care products are released by licensed partner Ultimotive, whose Self Healing Ceramic line targets fine swirls and light marks.
Self-healing does not make every kind of damage disappear, and a coating is not the same product as paint protection film.
05
GSWF window film: comfort and visibility
Film is heat-shaped on the outside of the windscreen to match its curvature — a fitting step, not necessarily the final installed surface.
No specific film model was supplied, so no GSWF heat-rejection or light-transmission figures are applied to this car.
06
Interior deep cleaning and aftercare
Cabin surfaces are cleaned according to their materials, removing dust and grease rather than masking with fragrance.
Follow the studio's curing guidance for the first wash, and share photographs of your car to confirm suitable services, pricing and timing.
