Short answer (TL;DR)
PPF is a TPU film that physically absorbs stone-chip impact (10-year anti-yellowing warranty, installed by LETS GET WRAP within our group). A ceramic coating is a hydrophobic sacrificial layer that improves cleanability and gloss retention (1–5 years warranty) and does not stop stone chips. They stack, but neither replaces the other.

How to choose
- Choose PPF if you drive highways often, worry about front-end stone chips, or want to preserve original paint.
- Choose ceramic coating for easier routine cleaning and gloss retention at a lower budget.
- Stack both — PPF first, then coating over the film — for impact plus cleanability; sequence and feasibility are assessed first.
