Four factors that move a PPF quote
Body size and lines
SUVs and estates have more surface area, and complex curves (carbon spoilers, wide-body kits) take longer to cut and fit.
Film grade
Self-healing TPU film differs from entry-level TPH in anti-yellowing, self-healing ability and durability — that shows up directly in price.
Installation method
Fully hand-cut film allows tight edge and corner wrapping with better fit than computer pre-cut kits, but takes longer to install.
Paint condition
If the original paint has swirl marks or has been resprayed, it needs paint correction first (from HK$1,800), otherwise the film seals the flaws in.
Aftercare essentials once the film is fitted

- We use self-healing TPU film with a 10-year anti-yellowing warranty — light everyday scratches smooth back out with sunlight or hot water. A free annual inspection is included during the warranty; yellowing, lifting or cracking is handled under the warranty terms.
- How long do I need to leave the car for full-car PPF?
- Full-car generally takes 5–7 days, front-end / half-car 2–3 days, and partial 1–2 days. Fully hand-cut film with seamless edge wrapping needs time for panel removal and shaping, so we confirm a pickup date at booking and message you with progress updates.
- Is PPF better than ceramic coating? Do I need both?
- They do different jobs: PPF is a physical TPU protective layer that absorbs stone-chip impact and self-heals; coating is about water-beading, gloss and oxidation resistance, and does nothing against stone chips. The most common combination is front-end PPF plus full-car ceramic coating, covering both impact protection and easy cleaning.
- How do I wash a car with PPF fitted?
- You can wash normally, but use a pH-neutral shampoo and keep the pressure-washer nozzle at least 30cm from edges, avoiding direct spray on the wrapped seams. Our AI robotic-arm assisted wash is safe for PPF-wrapped cars, and you can add a coating maintenance wash on top.
- Is PPF a problem on an older car?
- On a car with resprayed panels or aged paint, removing film in future can risk lifting an unstable paint layer. During the free inspection we measure paint-film thickness and explain the risk honestly, recommending a partial package first if needed.
